Overview

All prospective students must complete an administrative records review before enrollment. Please review the registration forms carefully for a full list of enrollment requirements. A parent or guardian must accompany students during the enrollment process.
Admission Requirements
To enroll at Sanostee Day School, students must provide the following:
- Enrollment Packet: Complete and sign all forms in the enrollment packet.
- Immunization Record: Submit an up-to-date immunization record.
- Certificate of Indian Blood: Demonstrate membership in a federally recognized tribe and provide a CIB.
- Birth Certificate: Submit a birth certificate or other legal documentation verifying parentage or guardianship.
- Social Security Card: Provide a Social Security card at the time of enrollment.
Additional Documentation
In addition to the items listed above, the following documents may be needed:
- Student Attendance/Behavior Log: Students who are under suspension or involved in disciplinary proceedings at another school must participate in a documented counseling session before enrollment. These sessions address the school’s expectations, clarify rules, and resolve concerns.
- Current Transcripts: This includes grades, credits, attendance records and test data. If applicable, also submit state and English Learner scores.
- Out-of-Boundary Waivers: Students living outside the school’s attendance boundaries must have a waiver approved by the school board.
Kindergarten Age Requirement
Students enrolling in kindergarten must turn 5 years old by December 31 of the enrollment year.
Transfer Students
Transfers must occur within the first 10 days of a semester and are subject to administrative approval and schedule availability.
Medical Disclosures
Parents or guardians must disclose any known medical conditions, including food allergies, upon enrollment to facilitate necessary accommodations.
