The Sanostee Day School library offers a welcoming space for reading, learning, and studying. Teachers may reserve the library for classes; individual students can arrange use as needed.

Checkouts

Staff and students can check out books with teacher approval. Classroom teachers decide whether books can be taken home.

Overdue Books

Borrowers must return or renew overdue items to regain borrowing privileges. At the end of the school year, overdue books are considered lost.

Requests for Books

Students and staff are encouraged to request new books for the library, and efforts are made to fulfill these requests whenever possible.

Library Rules

Students are expected to follow these guidelines when using the library:

  • Bring necessary materials and leave food and drinks outside.
  • Keep voices low and avoid running or horseplay.
  • Return books to their designated areas.
  • Do not remove reference materials, magazines, or newspapers.
  • During class hours, students must have a pass to access the library.
